Jamey Jasta makes custom walkout song for Matt Brown ahead of UFC 185

When Matt Brown enters the American Airlines Center in Dallas next weekend, he'll be walking to the Octagon to a custom made song courtesy of Jamey Jasta.

Jasta is best known as the lead singer of the heavy metal band Hatebreed and he wrote the song along with help from Brown ahead of his fight at UFC 185 against Johny Hendricks.

Brown and Jasta met recently at a show in Columbus, OH when the musician's band was playing a concert along with fellow MMA fan Zakk Wylde.

Jasta came up with the idea of making a custom song for Brown since he had a fight coming up soon and he released the track on Thursday, just over a week out from UFC 185 in Dallas.

“I’ve been thinking about releasing new JASTA tunes for a while now, so when Matt “The Immortal” Brown asked me if I’d be interested in putting something together for his entrance music, an idea instantly came to mind," Jasta said about the track. "I’m a big fan of his so this worked out perfectly. Matt is fighting March 14th at UFC 185, it’s gonna be a war!”

The song titled 'Immortal' is a play on Brown's nickname and top 10 ranked welterweight assisted with some of the lyrics Jasta used on the final track.

The track is now available to stream via Jasta's website as well as for purchase and it will definitely hit the speakers in a loud way next weekend as Brown prepares to face former welterweight champion Johny Hendricks.
