JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks and safety James Sample on injured reserve.

The team also activated receiver Rashad Greene from short-term IR on Wednesday and promoted safety Craig Loston from the practice squad to the active roster.

Marks tore his right triceps at Baltimore on Sunday. He missed the first five games of the season while recovering from knee surgery, so he'll end up missing 12 games in 2015. Sample played in four games this season, including two starts. He was inactive the past five games.

Greene played the first two games, but missed the past seven while recovering from a torn ligament in his left thumb. Loston spent seven weeks on the practice squad.
