The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Monday the dates and times of their preseason schedule, which begins Aug. 14 with a home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Jaguars will also travel to New York to face the Giants on Aug. 22 and to Washington to face the Redskins on Sept. 3. As had been previously announced, they will host the Detroit Lions in a nationally-televised contest Aug. 28.
Their opener marks the first time the Jaguars will play the Steelers in the preseason.
Tickets for the Jaguars' preseason and regular-season home games will go on sale later this week after the regular-season schedule is announced by the NFL. Fans should go to www.jaguars.com for ticket information.
Jacksonville's full preseason schedule is as follows:
Week 1 (Aug. 14): vs. Pittsburgh Steelers, 7:30 p.m.
Week 2 (Aug. 22): at New York Giants, 7:30 p.m.
Week 3 (Aug. 28): vs. Detroit Lions, 8 p.m.
Week 4 (Sept. 3): at Washington Redskins, 7:30 p.m.
