The Minnesota Twins have been getting a significant percentage of their offense from unexpected sources this season.
Eduardo Nunez leads the team with a .335 batting average through 195 plate appearances, while an outfielder who began the season in the minors is on a tear since joining the lineup on May 20.
Robbie Grossman currently leads the Twins in OPS -- shorthand for on-base percentage plus slugging percentage -- at 1.069, joining Nunez, Joe Mauer and Miguel Sano atop the charts thanks to a .453 on-base percentage and a .615 slugging percentage.
Grossman's OPS ranks fourth in the American League since May 20, when he went 3-for-4 with a three RBI, a double and a home run.

The Twins (16-40) are having a tough time racking up wins this season, but they're developing a reputation for battling until the final out.
Minnesota ranks seventh in the majors with 14 come-from-behind wins, meaning that 87.5 percent of their wins this season have involved a comeback.
The 1923 Boston Red Sox remain MLB's comeback kings after 65.6 percent of their wins were via comeback.
