Impact The veteran slugger last played in the majors with the Angels in 2024 and had a 1.039 OPS over 24 games in the Dominican Winter League this year. Sano clubbed 164 homers across his nine MLB seasons and should continue to be a legit power threat in Japan.

Impact Knee inflammation has kept Sano sidelined since the beginning of May.
