Greinke gets his run support

Yovani Gallardo: "€œDude, I get no run support. What am I doing wrong?"

Alex Wood: "€œBrother, I know what you mean. Every time I look up at the scoreboard, I see one or two in the Braves column. Don'€™t ask me, I have no idea. Zack?"

Zack Greinke: "€œI'€™ve been in your boat long enough. Tonight I got creative. I pulled up a chair in front of Yasiel's locker before the game and showed him what was coming tonight from Tim Hudson --€" fastballs. Either two-seamers or four-seamers, like this one.

"€œI did the same thing with every batter in our lineup.

"€œTurns out I was right. Huddy threw more than 50 percent fastballs. I got lucky with Lincecum. How was I to know 40 of his 57 pitches would be heaters? I followed my own advice and barreled a straight one up against Mike Kickham in the sixth. We put up 17 runs on those boys.

"€œIt'€™s that easy, men. They either understood my message or my stare frightened them into raking. I didn'€™t blink or speak. Is that strange? So what. It worked."
