Four Royals make MLB's top 20 best-selling jerseys for first half of 2016

The reigning World Series champion Kansas City Royals are showing their power in another aspect of the game: jersey sales.

MLB released its top 20 best-selling jerseys for the first half of 2016, and four Royals -- Eric Hosmer, Salvador Perez, Lorenzo Cain and Alex Gordon -- are featured. Perez, at No. 11, ranks the highest of the four, with Hosmer just behind him at No. 12. Gordon is at No. 15, and Cain comes in at No. 18.

Last year, no Royal cracked MLB's top 20 best-selling jeresys when all regular-season sales were tallied. MLB uses purchases of Majestic jerseys via MLB.com/shop to help construct the rankings.
