A former NASCAR driver is reportedly at the center of a $15 million fraud investigation.

According to WSOC-TV, Brian Rose is accused of creating a fake coal mining company to steal money from unsuspecting investors. Authorities say the money was spent on gambling trips to Las Vegas, buying and training racehorses and even funding Rose's racing team.

From 2000 to 2010, Rose made 41 starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
