FAU can't slow Marshall's run game in lopsided home loss

BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) -- Hyleck Foster led a running game that carried 47 times for 326 yards and three touchdowns, helping Marshall to a 33-17 win over Florida Atlantic on Saturday.

Foster finished with 122 yards on 17 carries, including a 66-yard score that gave the Thundering Herd (6-1, 3-0 Conference USA) a 30-10 lead with just over five minutes left in the third quarter. Devon Johnson rushed for a 75-yard touchdown on the second play from scrimmage, and Remi Watson went for 66 yards and a score on 11 attempts.

Trey Rodriguez carried 16 times for 72 yards and a score for Florida Atlantic (1-5, 1-2), and Tyler Cameron added six catches for 111 yards.

Marshall possessed the ball for more than 35 minutes, including a 12-play, 63-yard drive that used up the final 7:40.
