MUMBAI, India (AP) England captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected to field against South Africa in the Group 1 match at the World Twenty20 on Friday.

England went in with an unchanged side which was thumped by six wickets by the West Indies on Wednesday after Chris Gayle smashed an unbeaten 100 in 48 balls.

South Africa hopes its top four in-form batsmen AB de Villiers, Quinton de Kock, captain Faf du Plessis and Hashim Amla put enough runs on the board at Wankhede Stadium, where dew might make things difficult for bowlers to defend the total.

South Africa: Hashim Amla, Quinton de Kock, AB de Villiers, Faf du Plessis (captain), JP Duminy, David Miller, Chris Morris, Kagiso Rabada, Kyle Abbott, Dale Steyn, Imran Tahir.

England: Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan (captain), Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali, Adil Rashid, David Willey, Chris Jordan, Reece Topley.
