LONDON -- Football fans wouldn't believe it, but the Cowboys were actually 1-8 when receiver Dez Bryant had two or more touchdown catches in his five-year career.
Now, they are 2-8.
The 2013 Pro Bowler finished with six catches for 158 yards and two touchdowns, season highs in the yards and scoring categories.
"Yeah, I thought he played well," head coach Jason Garrett said.
With a 10-7 lead with 7:13 to go in the second quarter, Bryant caught a 35-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Tony Romo that featured the Oklahoma State product breaking tackles, running laterally, and leaping across the goal line a he took simultaneous shots from Jaguars defenders. Afterwards, Bryant threw up the Roc Nation sign before throwing up the X.
Said Garrett: "On the drag route that he caught underneath it, he did a great job breaking tackles and really running with reckless abandon. And it was a heck of a play and really a game changing play for us."
"End zone," Bryant said about the 35-yard score. "I wanted to get int the end zone. That's all it was. Make a play."
Bryant's play extended the lead to 17-7, which was the status quo until Dallas got the ball back with 31 second remaining until halftime.
From their own 32-yard line, Romo heaved a bomb for Bryant that he caught in stride, breaking a couple tackles, and then made it into the end zone again.
"They play a single high style of defense," Garrett explained.

"So, that typically gives the outside receiver an opportunity to go one on one. So, we took advantage of that a little bit."
Said Bryant: "I came pretty good release off the line, and we talked about being explosive. That's something you need to do to keep going. Coach does a great job with us, an outstanding job with us working on that. And he's always, it's always good to see what he teaches us on film."
The Cowboys are 7-3 for the first time in Bryant's career with Dallas. The odds are heavily in their favor to at least make the playoffs as a wildcard with six games left to play.
Is Bryant, or any of his teammates, basking in the glory?
"We can't pay attention to it," said Bryant.
"We got to continue to keep our head down and focus on our goal, and we all know what that is."
The Cowboys have a bye this week, and then they take on another goal in facing the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium on Sunday Night Football.
"It's a mindset. Coach Garrett said it, it's business."
