Despite Martin's big day, Butler falls 75-69 to Marquette

The Golden Eagles' Henry Ellenson had his own banner day, scoring a career-high 32 points -- including a critical bucket in the final minute -- and pulling down 10 rebounds. The 6-foot-11, 245-pound freshman turned in his 13th double-double by hitting 8 of 14 shots and making both of his 3-point attempts. He made 14 of 16 free throws and blocked six shots.
His tip-in off his own miss gave the Golden Eagles (15-7, 4-5 Big East) a 72-69 lead with 28 seconds left. Marquette added four free throws while Butler (14-7, 3-6) missed a pair of 3-pointers.
Another freshman, Traci Carter, made five 3-pointers for a career-high 15 points and Jujuan Johnson added 11 for Marquette, which shot 52 percent. Butler's Kellen Dunham and Roosevelt Jones finished with 15 points each.
Marquette led the final nine minutes but not by more than six.
