DeMarco Murray surprises family with gifts after house fire

It might be a small gesture, but it was a memorable one that DeMarco Murray gave to the Livermore family this past Tuesday.
The Livermore's Frisco, Texas, home burned down this past December, taking with it the family's signed memorabilia from Murray -- their favorite player. John Livermore and his wife Christie said their three sons, Jake, Will and Brock, watch Murray and the Cowboys every Sunday during football season.
Having heard about the fire, Murray was waiting at the entrance of Boardwalk Ferrari in Plano, Texas, when the family arrived for Tuesday night's special event hosted by Hublot and the Cowboys. In addition to greeting them personally, Murray provided the three boys with signed No. 29 jerseys.
"Knowing their story and the house burning down and just kind of -- maybe it won't, but try to get their minds away from it and let them enjoy themselves tonight," Murray said.
Murray also posed for pictures with the family and sat with them at the event dinner. John Livermore said it was a thrill for the family -- who have watched Murray since his college career in Norman, Okla., as an Oklahoma Sooner.
"It's more than we could ever ask for. The kids are absolutely thrilled," he said. "They've got brand new jerseys. We watch DeMarco every Sunday. We're big OU fans. We've watched him all through his career."
