Dayton beats George Mason 76-63; moves to 4-way tie in A-10

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- Jordan Sibert scored 24 points, Kendall Pollard chipped in 16 and Dayton rolled to a 76-63 victory over George Mason on Wednesday night for its 20th straight home win, and moves into a four-way tie for first in the Atlantic 10.

Dayton, which doesn't have a player over 6-6, held A-10 rebounding leader, 6-11 center Shevon Thompson, to just six points and three rebounds. Thompson came in averaging 13.3 points and 12 boards per game.

Dayton (21-6, 11-4 Atlantic 10) led 35-31 at the break, opened the second half on a 24-10 run to take a 59-41 lead with 11:17 left, and cruised from there.

Siebert was 7 of 10 from the floor, including 5 of 6 from long range. Pollard finished 6-of-11 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds, and Kyle Davis added 13 points.

Isaiah Jackson scored 13 points for George Mason (8-19, 3-12), which has lost seven of eight.
