Monday's news that the Dallas Cowboys released safety Gerald Sensabaugh and placed the franchise tag on outside linebacker/defensive end Anthony Spencer for a second consecutive season overshadowed the release of two other members of the franchise.

The Cowboys announced Monday that cornerback Vince Agnew and linebacker Brashton Satele have been let go.

Agnew joined the Cowboys' practice squad on Oct. 16 and was added to the active roster on Nov. 10. The 25-year-old rookie appeared in four games but did not record any stats.

Satele, 25, was a member of the New York Jets practice squad before joining the Cowboys during the early part of the 2012 season. He was released and re-signed by Dallas on Dec. 12. Satele has never played in an NFL game.
