College Fantasy Review Week 3
I had a rough week three in the fantasy college football world and didn’t get time to research for NFL week two. I’m looking to get back on track in week four but will review my picks from week three first.
Joshua Dobbs had a decent game despite the volunteers escaping a near upset for the second time in this young season. Dobbs had 3 total touchdowns, two coming through the air and one on the ground. he added 59 rushing yards and 203 passing yards good for just over 27 fantasy points.
Deshaun Watson on the other hand did not put up as many points as Dobbs even though the Tigers finally looked like everyone expected them to. That is where the problems came in however as Clemson jumped out to a large early lead and the dreaded blowout game resulted in Watson being pulled early. Watson threw for ran for 8 yards and threw for 152 and 3 touchdowns totaling 18.88 fantasy points.
Corey Clement ended up sitting out this past game for the badgers and I ended up fading him. Dalvin Cook played, but I think everyone who follows football even the slightest bit knows that Florida State got embarrassed in Louisville and Cook didn’t help at all.Rushing for only 58 yards and no scores.
My receiver picks might be worse than the running back picks and I’m embarrassed. KJ Hill obviously wasn’t targeted by J.T. Barrett a whole lot as it seemed every time Barrett threw the ball it ended up in Noah Browns hands. Zach Austin acquired no stats for Texas Tech to cap off a terrible week of picks. Lets try and get back on track this week.
