Clippers sign guard Lester Hudson to 10-day contract
The Clippers have signed Lester Hudson to a 10-day contract.
Hudson, a 6-foot-3 guard, is a former Boston Celtics draft pick. Doc Rivers was the coach there when Boston drafted him 58th overall in 2009.
The 30-year-old Hudson has played three seasons in the NBA but has played most recently for the Chinese Basketball Association, where he was a two-time MVP in 2014 and 2015. He's also a three-time All-Star (2012, 2014, 2015).
In playing for Lianoing over 50 games, Hudson averaged 31.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 6.9 assists.
Nate Robinson, who has missed the last two games with a knee injury, had signed two 10-day contracts but wasn't signed for the rest of the season.
The Clippers inked Dahntay Jones and Jordan Hamilton to a pair of 10-day contracts and then signed them for the rest of the season.
Hudson has played in 52 NBA games, averaging 4.8 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists with Boston, Washington and Cleveland.
