CJ Wilson's newborn daughter rocks daddy's sunglasses in Instagram post

On Tuesday, Angels pitcher CJ Wilson and wife Lisa welcomed their first child Valentina to the world. With new baby and mom set to leave the hospital today, Wilson took to Instgram to post a picture of Valentina sporting some sweet shades for her first trip out into the California sun.

Since his daughter's birth, the proud poppa hasn't been shy about sharing images of baby Valentina. In addition to the obligatory baby with baseball shot, Wilson also posted a pic of the newborn next to his size 12.5 sneakers for size perspective purposes.

Wilson left Angels camp last week to be with his wife back in California for the birth. Prior to leaving, Wilson had been rested as a precaution after soreness in his throwing arm.

Last season, the lefthander had to miss the Angels' ill-fated playoff push due to bone chips that needed surgically removed. Wilson is headed back to Angels Spring Training on Friday.
