Cardinals to play preseason home games vs. Chiefs, Chargers

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals announced a four-game preseason schedule on Thursday that features a pair of home games against Kansas City and San Diego.

Specific dates and game times will be announced later, but it was revealed that the Chiefs will be the opponent in the first preseason game, followed by another home game against the Chargers.

The final two preseason games will be on the road, also against AFC West opponents. Arizona's week 3 game will by against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, Aug. 30, and be nationally televised by NBC. The week preseason finale will be in Denver against the Broncos. It will be the 10th time in the past 12 seasons that the Cardinals have concluded their preseason schedule by playing the Broncos.

The regular season schedule is expected to be announced later this month. The Cardinals will play home games against the Packers, Vikings, Ravens, Bengals, Saints, Seahawks and 49ers and  road games at Detroit, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Seattle and San Francisco.

Preseason week 2, Aug. 20-24: vs. San Diego, at University of Phoenix Stadium

Preseason week 3, Aug. 30, 5 p.m. (MST): at Oakland, O.co Coliseum, (NBC)

Preseason week 4, Sept. 3-4: at Denver, Sports Authority Field
