'Broke college kid' receives Indians tickets after asking Kipnis on Twitter
Jason Kipnis is pretty well known for his interaction with fans on Twitter, and despite a recent tirade, we learned on Tuesday that the Cleveland Indians second baseman has a softer side to his social media presence.
Hours before Tuesday's AL Central showdown between the Indians and Royals, a young fan who simply referred to himself as a "broke college kid," tweeted at Kipnis simply asking for tickets to the game.
Much to the fan's surprise, Kipnis responded:
@zwalker_157 Deal.. How many tickets do you need?
