Blues activate Schenn from injured reserve

The St. Louis Blues have activated forward Brayden Schenn from injured reserve in time for Wednesday night's game at the Anaheim Ducks.

Schenn, 27, missed St. Louis' last six games with an upper-body injury. The Blues have struggled offensively during that stretch, scoring two goals in four games and one goal in each of the other two as they went 2-3-1.

Despite being out, Schenn ranks third on the team with 39 points (11 goals, 28 assists) in 55 games. His return, on a top line with Ryan O'Reilly and Vladimir Tarasenko, is expected to give the St. Louis offense a boost.

Defenseman Michael Del Zotto, a trade-deadline acquisition from Anaheim, will make his Blues debut against his former team tonight.
