Blatt may alter Cavs' lineup vs. Wizards

Cavaliers coach David Blatt could alter the starting lineup in time for Wednesday's home game against the Washington Wizards.

Blatt has been contemplating lineup changes that would likely involve moving Shawn Marion back to a reserve role. Blatt considered starting Mike Miller in place of Marion at shooting guard for Monday's game against the Orlando Magic, sources told FOX Sports Ohio.

The Cavs (6-7) are pleased with Marion as a starter, but prefer he come off the bench to provide defense and take some minutes at small forward to help preserve star LeBron James.

"It's not always about who's starting the game," Blatt said at practice Tuesday. "It's about the combinations on the floor that are working and the way they're playing together."

Miller did not play Monday vs. Orlando. If he starts against the Wizards, he will be the Cavs' third starting shooting guard this season. Dion Waiters began the year starting at the spot.

The Cavs' 106-74 win over the Magic snapped a four-game losing streak.
