Ever hear of the film "Masters of the Gridiron"? If you're really a 'life-long Browns fan' like so many Clevelanders claim to be, you've probably seen it and even own a copy of it. If you're a "Generation X" Browns fan, you'll want to see this...

In this week's edition of "Throwback Thursday", USA TODAY's For The Win pulled out a really creepy video made by the 1986 Cleveland Browns. It's called "Masters of the Gridiron" and it has Browns players dressed up as ninjas and vikings fighting for an "elusive ring".

Did we mention there's an appearance from Tiny Tim?

You just have to see it for yourself...

Thankfully, For The Win did some background info on this masterpiece that will hopefully shed some light on things -- like why it was made.

In 1985, the Chicago Bears released the iconic “Super Bowl Shuffle” rap video then went on to win an NFL title. The following year, the Cleveland Browns decided they wanted to try to follow suit, but opted to up the ante a little bit. The result? An amazingly bizarre 17-minute live action short film called “Masters of the Gridiron” that features members of the team dressed like He-Man characters fighting ninjas, bears and even an evil lord to capture an elusive ring.

Former Browns center Mike Baab starred in the film and his wife, Lolis Garcia-Baab, produced it.
