This seal might be young, but it is also wise.
Faced with a life-and-death situation, the seal made the only wise choice: Hopping on-board a nearby boat for safety to avoid feeding whales.
It turned into a waiting game in the water and the seal won out -- for now -- as the dozen or so whales decided to see what else they could find for a meal.
