As you can see once you've had a few minutes to peruse the various sections of the grid, some franchises have altered the look drastically, others more subtly, some franchises doing both at different times.

Going back to Chicago: the modern White Sox rendition is perfectly nice (confusion over Eazy-E's cap in "Straight Outta Compton" aside) but I think they nailed it in 1976 with that blue player with a curiously shaped hand.
