Arian Foster returns to Twitter, announces he's medically cleared

Arian Foster seemed to have a restless Saturday night, and Twitter was his coping method.

On March 4, 2013, Foster announced he was leaving twitter. That lasted one year and 11 days (as one tweeter pointed out) until he made his grand return Saturday night. And boy, was it entertaining.

Here are some of the highlights:

First, he defended Kevin Durant in the ongoing beef with rapper Lil B.

Then he proceeded to call Dick Vitale a pimp.

He's also not taking the Lakers' season very well, and announced his hope that Carmelo Anthony makes a move to the West Coast next season.

He refused to predict a winner for March Madness because he wants nothing to do with the NCAA.

And probably most importantly, he announced he was medically cleared by his doctors.

Hear that? That's the collective sigh of relief from Houston Texans fans. Foster underwent a "microscopic lumbar discectomy surgery" on Nov. 13, which ended his season early. The Texans went on to finish with a 2-14 record.

His clearance couldn't have come at a better time, too. His former backup Ben Tate signed a three-year deal with the Browns this week.

And, oh yeah, Foster sent his congratulations via Twitter on that issue, too.
