LOS ANGELES -- After spending most of the spring negotiating with outfielder Mike Trout, the Angels finally have a deal on a six-year contract extension with their young star.
Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports confirmed that Trout's deal is worth $144.5 million. It will take him through his salary arbitration years and the first three years of free agency. The average yearly salary will be almost $24.1 million.
The deal reportedly includes a no-trade clause.
Trout can become a free agent at the end of the contract, when he's 29.
The Angels, who announced the deal Friday night, have scheduled a news conference for Saturday at 1:30 p.m. during their "Fiesta Angels" event in the Angel Stadium parking lot. The Angels and Dodgers close out their Freeway Series at 6 p.m.
Trout missed Friday's game at Dodger Stadium because of the flu and was not at the ballpark. He's expected to attend the announcement along with his parents and Angels owner Arte Moreno.
Trout avoided any discussion about his contract this spring, but he signed a one-year deal for $1 million in February.

His first two seasons in the major leagues clearly earned him a massive contract, and his deal comes in the wake of the eight-year, $248-million extension the Detroit Tigers awarded Miguel Cabrera this week.
Trout was MVP runner-up to Cabrera the past two seasons, although it could be argued his statistical impact was greater. He hit .326 in 2012 and .323 last season and is one of just four players in baseball history to hit at least .320 with 50 home runs and 200 runs scored in his first two full seasons, joining Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams and teammate Albert Pujols.
Trout also led the majors the past two seasons in WAR (wins above replacement), becoming only the eighth player with a 10.0 WAR in back-to-back seasons.
