Michael Phelps clarifies his brief situation at ASU's 'Curtain of Distraction'

We'll keep this brief: Champion swimmer Michael Phelps said he had a great time causing a scene behind ASU's "Curtain of Distraction" in Arizona State's win over Oregon State on Thursday night.

But the 18-time Olympic gold medalist wanted to clarify that the itty bitty skivvies he sported in the Tempe, Arizona, student section were not, in fact, Speedos (he couldn't even bring himself to type the name), but his own custom-made suit:

Phelps ended his longtime relationship with Speedo in 2014 to create his own brand of swimwear. And while it has become common parlance for all barely-there swimsuits, the 30-year-old, who came out of retirement to make a run at the 2016 Rio Olympics, suggested this alternative term:
