WATCH: Henrik Lundqvist tries hand at stopping barrage of pumpkin pies

Henrik Lundqvist's day job has him very busy stopping pucks, but how does Lundqvist fare at stopping a tastier object? Jimmy Fallon decided to find out on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" recently, and Lundqvist obliged by appearing in a three-piece suit (well, sans jacket) to take on Fallon.

Lundqvist has been unbeatable on the ice, and he was unbeatable in the pumpkin pie challenge as well, shutting out Fallon despite using just a stick, blocker and glove.

Lundqvist did use a special stick for the show, as he brought back the stick he used to shut out the Carolina Hurricanes Tuesday. The piece of lumber was the same stick fans fought over after he tossed the stick into the stands following the game.

The final destination for the popular piece of equipment will be the auction block, as Lundqvist announced he will auction it off to raise money for charity.

That sounds like something for which many people can be thankful.
