Manitoba Moose Sign Minor League Players, Cormier, and Czuczman

The Manitoba Moose have made two minor signings.

The Moose have inked both forward Patrice Cormier, and defenseman Kevin Czuczman to contracts.

Cormier played 65 games with the Moose last season, scoring 15 goals, and 17 assists for a total of 32 points. He also spent two games with the Jets. The 26 year old has played a career total of 52 NHL games, scoring one goal, and four assists. Cormier has been a part of the Atlanta Thrashers/Winnipeg Jets organization since being traded from New Jersey as a part of the Ilya Kovalchuk, Johnny Oduya trade on February fourth, 2010.

Kevin Czuczman, 25, played for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL last season. He had four goals, eleven assists for a total of 15 points in 74 games. He also spent 95 minutes in the penalty box. Czuczman has played a total of thirteen NHL games, accumulating two assists in that stint. The New York Islanders signed him as an undrafted college free agent after multiple seasons at Lake Superior State University. He is a 6’3″, 210 pound defense-man.
