Johansen, Jones ran into each other at airport after trade
It's a case of two NHL stars passing in the night.
The Columbus Blue Jackets and the Nashville Predators caused quite a stir Wednesday evening when they announced they were swapping Ryan Johansen for Seth Jones in a blockbuster NHL trade.
And wouldn't you know it? Johansen just happened to run into Jones at the airport while in transit to Nashville last night (not that many direct flights in that Ohio-Tennessee corridor).
Here's picture proof of Ryan and his "good buddy Jonesy," courtesy of Johansen's Instagram account. And from the looks of it, no hard feelings between either.
Jones reposted Johansen's picture on his own Instagram account with the caption, "Good luck in Nash my man. #Winterhawks."
While they're swapping teams and locales, maybe Johansen and Jones can swap houses as well.
