Rutledge Wood, the resident "funny man" on FOX Sports 1, is a reporter for NASCAR RACEDAY. He also fills host and reporter duties on specials throughout the season, including the NASCAR Sprint Cup Awards Ceremony, and was a long time co-host of TRACKSIDE on SPEED through 2013. Wood also was called upon frequently to report for NASCAR LIVE and the NASCAR Sprint Pit Crew Challenge.
Additionally, Wood co-hosts History Channel's Top Gear, an Americanized version of the U.K.'s popular Top Gear. Wood, who joined the FOX Sports family when he came aboard NASCAR RACEDAY, TRACKSIDE and NASCAR LIVE in February 2005, served in 2007 as host of SPEED ROAD TOUR CHALLENGE, a reality show about four contestants living together on a bus traveling to NASCAR races.
Wood also worked for Country Music Television (CMT) on its Most Wanted tour immediately following graduation from college and is a mainstay on Kyle Petty's Charity Ride Across America each year.
He resides in Atlanta with his wife, Rachel, and their three daughters.
