Peyton Manning zings Eli with a joke at his retirement press conference
Peyton Manning said farewell to the NFL on Monday with an emotional press conference in Denver where he cracked jokes, choked up and listed all the things he'll miss about playing in the league.
He also couldn't bypass the chance at zinging his younger brother Eli with a joke, and poor Eli wasn't even in attendance. Let's go to Peyton at the podium:

"I still kid Eli he would've broken it if he had started all 16 games."https://t.co/KHez0qu6SB
"We ended my rookie season 3-13, and in the process I set the NFL rookie record for interceptions -- a record that I still hold today. Every year I pull for a rookie quarterback to break that record. Andrew Luck, Matthew Stafford, Eli Manning, Cam Newton. I still kid Eli that he would have broken it if he had started all 16 games."
Eli appeared in nine games in his rookie season, starting seven, and threw nine picks. Considering Peyton threw 28 interceptions in 16 starts with the Colts, Eli probably wouldn't have actually been that bad (then again, he did throw 27 INTs just three seasons ago).
