Peyton Manning seeking second opinion on foot injury

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) Peyton Manning flew to Charlotte, North Carolina, on Monday for a second opinion on his left foot and Broncos coach Gary Kubiak announced Brock Osweiler would get his second straight start this week.
Manning is dealing with a torn plantar fascia, which prevents him from stepping into his throws. Kubiak said he's not necessarily worried that Manning would need surgery or that his season is over.
The Broncos (8-2) host Tom Brady and the New England Patriots on Sunday. The Patriots (9-0) host the Buffalo Bills on Monday night.
Osweiler won his first NFL start Sunday, throwing for 250 yards and two TDs with no interceptions in Denver's 17-15 win at Chicago.
It was the first turnover-free game of the season for Denver.
