Jaguars expect DT Marks, WR Lee back at practice this week
Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley said Monday the team expects injured wide receiver Marqise Lee and defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks to return to practice this week.
Marks, who led the Jaguars in sacks last season with 8.5, hasn't practiced since tearing his ACL in last season's final game agains the Houston Texans.
Lee, who has been dealing with a hamstring issue, hasn't practiced since the fifth day of training.
Bradley said of the two returning players, Lee had a better chance of playing Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
"He made really good strides last week so we’ll see," Bradley said, per ESPN. "Hopefully he gets a chance to practice on Wednesday and we’ll see how he does during the week. Sen’Derrick, you should see him get more involved as far as in individual drills."
The coach also said the ankle injury suffered Sunday by left tackle Luke Joeckel was not as severe as it could have been. Joeckel left the loss to the Carolina Panthers in the third quarter. His status for this week's game against the Dolphins is still unknown.
