
Ex-Colts WR Duron Carter returns to the CFL
Former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Duron Carter, who spent the 2015 season on the team's practice squad, is headed back to Canada.
On Monday's the CFL's Montreal Alouettes announced they've signed Carter to a one-year deal to return to the team.
Carter spent two seasons with the Alouettes before signing with the Colts last February. The 6-foot-5, 205-pound Carter failed to make the Indianapolis roster in training camp and wasn't singed to a reserve/future contract after the season ended earlier this month.

“We welcome Duron back to the Alouettes family. His ability to make big plays will add unlimited potential to our new revamped offense,” Alouettes General Manager and Head Coach Jim Popp said.
Carter, the son of Hall of Fame receiver Cris Carter, had a combined 124 catches for 1,934 yards and 12 touchdowns over his first two seasons with Montreal.
