Dolphins WRs DeVante Parker, Jarvis Landry have career days in loss

The Miami Dolphins fell to 4-7 on the year after losing in blowout fashion to the New York Jets, 38-20. They're all but eliminated from playoff contention and look like they'll finish in the basement of the AFC East.

Not much went right for Miami against the Jets on Sunday, but there were two lone bright spots: DeVante Parker and Jarvis Landry.

The Dolphins' wide receiver duo showed a ton of potential in Week 12, combining for 17 catches, 245 yards and two touchdowns. At the very least, it's a potential sign of things to come for the Dolphins as they have a handful of promising young receivers for Ryan Tannehill to target.

It was the first game in which Parker was a factor, doubling his reception and yardage total for 2015. He caught four passes for 80 yards and his first career touchdown, which came in the final seconds of the game. After entering the game with four catches for 49 yards, Parker made an impact for the first time since being taken in the first round.

As for Landry, his outstanding season continued. He recorded 13 catches for a career-high 165 yards and a touchdown. He's undoubtedly been Tannehill's favorite receiver over the past two seasons. If Parker can emerge as a serious threat, it'll open up the field further for both receivers.
