Dolphins C Pouncey (foot) ruled out, wearing boot on sideline

The Miami Dolphins could be without their top offensive lineman for some time. Starting center Mike Pouncey left Sunday's Week 12 game against the New York Jets with a foot injury and has been ruled out.

Pouncey came out of the locker room wearing a walking boot on his right foot, which clearly isn't a good sign. Rookie Jamil Douglas took over for Pouncey after he exited the game, and struggled snapping the ball to Ryan Tannehill.

On several occasions, Douglas gave Tannehill low shotgun snaps, throwing off the quarterback's timing. With the Dolphins' offensive line already dealing with injuries and inconsistency, Pouncey's injury won't be an easy one to overcome.
