Cowboys DE motivated to 'get a slide in my house one day' like Tony Romo

Tony Romo has been sidelined with a back injury since the preseason, forcing him to miss all of the regular season thus far. He hasn’t been a participant in practice since training camp, but he’s remained a big part of the team -- and a source of motivation.

During the Cowboys’ bye week, Romo hosted a party for his teammates at his incredible house. It features a golf simulator, beautiful pool and basketball court, among other things.

"It was a great experience to see all the cool things he has in there," defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence said, via the Dallas Morning News. "Beautiful pool, beautiful house. It was great."

As great as all of those things are, the feature that has motivated Lawrence more than anything is the slide. That’s right: Romo has a slide in his house that goes from the second level to the basketball court.

"It just makes me embrace this situation that I'm in," Lawrence said. "It makes me want to work harder so I can get a slide in my house one day."

Who wouldn’t want a slide in his house – even if it doesn’t land on a spectacular basketball court like Romo’s does? Based on his teammates’ Snapchat posts, it looks like the quarterback’s home is pretty incredible.

Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant couldn't make it to Romo's house party, but he's paid him a visit before. And as great as it is, he's not jealous.

"No, no, no, I'm not jealous at all," Bryant said. "Hey man, he's the quarterback. That's Tony Romo, man. He deserves it."
