Otto Porter Jr. is the 2015 'Shaqtin' a Fool' MVP
There are plenty of awards handed out at the end of the regular season, but this isn't one you really want to win.
The end of the year "Shaqtin' A Fool" award is handed out to the player who committed the biggest blooper during the year. Washington Wizards forward Otto Porter Jr. won it going away this season.
Here's more from Des Bieler at the Washington Post:
"When Otto Porter Jr. lost track of his man on defense in a March game against the Bulls, he didn’t just allow Tony Snell to launch a wide-open three-pointer, he made history. According to NBA TV on Wednesday, the Wizardssmall forward received more votes for “Shaqtin a Fool” MVP than any other player in the four-year-history of the award.
That history includes longtime “Shaqtin a Fool” poster boy JaVale McGee, who won the first two awards (last year’s winner was then-Thunder big man Kendrick Perkins), the first while a member of the Wizards. That means that Washington has accounted for a full 50 percent of “Shaqtin a Fool” MVPs."
