Kim K, NBA hubby headed for divorce?
Rumors were swirling Wednesday that Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are on the brink of splitting, just two months into their marriage -- with several celebrity magazines telling of his wild nights out with other women and her future plans without him, according to the New York Post.
Kardashian, 30, is fed up with Humphries' partying while he is out of a job thanks to the NBA lockout, according to Star magazine.
Humphries, 26, has been spotted partying in both Miami and New York without his new wife, getting flirty with multiple women and "acting like a single man."
"Kris takes other girls' cell phone numbers all the time," a source told the magazine. "To be honest, I don't think Kris truly loves Kim. And I don't think he ever really did."
Life & Style magazine alleged that on a recent trip to Toronto, Humphries contacted his ex-girlfriend, Bianka Kamber.
The magazine also spoke to a "Kourtney & Kim Take New York" producer who said, "Kim's mapping out 2012, including holidays, and Kris isn't a part of it. Any itineraries for the future don't include Kris very much."
Kardashian has been working non-stop since the couple returned from a swift five-day honeymoon on the Italian isle of Capri. She even cut short the getaway to return for the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.
Kardashian returned from Dubai on Sunday after a publicity trip estimated to have pocketed her $1 million. Instead of her husband she was accompanied by her mother and manager, Kris Jenner.
The reality TV star makes a significant amount of her income from tweeting about particular brands and her wedding to Humphries raked in almost $18 million from TV rights, magazine deals and product placements.
But despite Kardashian relocating from Los Angeles to New York to be with the basketballer, he is not often seen out and about with her.
Kardashian has reportedly only been spotted with her new husband once this week, when they went to dinner at STK Restaurant in New York Tuesday night. But a source told Hollywood Life that the date appeared just for show. "They came in kind of separated," the witness said.
Earlier in the night she had attended the Game Changers Gala at Skylight SoHo in Manhattan solo, with some suggesting Humphries' reluctance to be seen on the red carpet with her is a sign their marriage is suffering.
"Kim and Kris have started off married life with a string of blazing rows. They barely seem on speaking terms right now," a source told Heat magazine.
Star magazine also suggested that Kardashian may have already consulted a "top divorce lawyer," after being spotted at a New York office building on the same floor as the office of Robert M. Wallack.
But Wallack told the New York Post that, despite the reports, he had not met with Kardashian to discuss any divorce.
"I didn't meet with her and I am not representing her. I wish Kim and Kris a long, healthy and happy marriage," he said.
