Hornets don't extend a qualifying offer to Jeffrey Taylor

Jeffrey Taylor was once expected to be a major part of the Charlotte Hornets' future. However, following a disappointing season both on (injuries) and off (a domestic violence charge that resulted in a 24-game suspension) the court, the Hornets declined to extend a qualifying offer to Taylor, making him an unrestricted free agent. Taylor's career can still be salvaged, if he lands with the right team. He's a good athlete, a decent shooter, and could still develop into the three-and-d player the Hornets hoped he would be.
