Brook Lopez once again campaigns to play a 'Star Wars' Wookiee
Brook Lopez loves "Star Wars." We're talking, loooove. Like, the way most people feel about their first born — that's how the Nets center feels about "Star Wars."
In honor of the highly-anticipated "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" on Dec. 18, the Nets put together a "Star Wars" night in Brooklyn on Monday. And Lopez clearly had the most fun with it.
The Nets handed out bobblehead dolls of Lopez as a Jedi, ones which Brook gave his full stamp of approval. Heck, every time Lopez scored, the loud speakers played a lightsaber sound.
During the game, Lopez even had fun with a "Star Wars" questionnaire, during which he campaigned, once again, to play a Wookiee in one of the new "Star Wars" films.
This isn't the first time Lopez has publicly begged for a part in a new Star Wars film. During a press scrum last year, he might as well have gotten on his knees and pleaded for the Nets' beat reporters to get his word out about his desire to make like Chewbacca in a galaxy far far away.

C'mon, powers that be. Just put him in a movie. It'll make everyone happier.
