You can say this about the Denver Nuggets search for a new head coach: They are certainly being thorough.

This time around, the Nuggets interviewed David Vanterpool, an assistant coach with the Portland Trail Blazers.

"David Vanterpool interviewed for the Denver Nuggets’ head coaching job. Vanterpool is currently an assistant coach with the Portland Trail Blazers under Terry Stotts. The Oklahoma City Thunder hired Vanterpool as director of player personnel in 2010, a role that had him on the front-office fast track until his desire to coach led him to the Blazers in 2012."
