Lots of offseason travel in the works for Earnhardt Jr.

No, Dale Earnhardt Jr. didn’t win the NASCAR Sprint Cup championship this season — but he is going to Disney World.

Earnhardt is testing with most of his fellow competitors at Charlotte Motor Speedway next Monday. However, the driver, who finished fifth in the standings, has several trips planned, including one to the popular amusement park with his sister Kelley Earnhardt Miller’s family.

How does NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver expect to remain under the radar?

“That place is so overwhelming that I don’t think I’ll be the main attraction,” Earnhardt replied.

Earnhardt is also planning a trip to an Asheville, N.C., cabin with 11 of his closest fans. He just happened to win the outing in a raffle.
