With rain falling at Pocono Raceway and the start of the Axalta We Paint Winners 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race under delay, Kurt Busch stopped by the NASCAR RaceDay set to visit with broadcasters Chris Myers, Darrell Waltrip and Jeff Gordon.
Busch, the 2004 Cup champion, talked about one of the most impressive feats of this or any other decade: his 2014 run in the Indianapolis 500, when he finished sixth and won rookie of the year honors.
What was especially eye-opening was that it was Busch's first race of any kind in an open-wheel car and he stayed in contention to win from start to finish, a remarkable accomplishment by any measure.
