Jamie McMurray gives a preview of NASCAR's new digital dashboard
During Monday's Goodyear tire test at Kentucky Speedway, Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates driver Jamie McMurray gave a preview of NASCAR's new digital dashboard.
According to the NASCAR rule book, teams will be able to use the digital dash after Aug. 5, 2015. The digital dash will then be mandatory for all events starting Jan. 1, 2016 and cannot be modified from the manufacturer specifications.
McMurray took to his Twitter account on Monday to show off the new, high-tech component, which can be changed with the flip of a switch.
