The NASCAR "Silly Season" is in full force, and another NASCAR team investor is pulling out. In this case, he's also selling his stake.

Anthony Marlowe sent a tweet Friday night announcing his 10 percent stake in BK Racing is for sale. BK Racing fields Sprint Cup Series cars for J.J. Yeley, Matt DiBenedetto and Jeb Burton and is part of the Race Team Alliance.

Ownership investment in Sprint Cup Series teams has been a hot topic in the sport since late July when RTA chairman and Michael Waltrip Racing co-owner Rob Kauffman announced he bought a stake in Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates -- a decision that ultimately is forcing MWR to shut down at season's end.

Kauffman has championed the ownership cause since helping form the RTA, saying owners need some sort of permanent value for their investment.

During a media event at Hendrick Motorsports earlier in the week, Rick Hendrick indicated NASCAR chairman and CEO Brian France, Kauffman and other team owners are currently having discussions to make that happen.

As for those interested in purchasing a 10 percent ownership stake in BK Racing, Marlowe included his contact information in the tweet.
