Nigel Mansell was not pleased with Lewis Hamilton's tactics

Among those upset with Lewis Hamilton’s tactics at Sunday’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was 1992 Formula One World Champion Nigel Mansell.

Mansell, who was once teammates with Nico Rosberg’s father Keke, often tweets his thoughts and opinions during modern-day F1 races, and Sunday was no exception as the field took to the Yas Marina Circuit for the 2016 season finale.

In the closing laps of the race, with a 1-2 finish in the bags for Hamilton and Rosberg, Hamilton began backing up his teammate so that Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel could close in on them from behind. The only way Hamilton could win the title would have been if Rosberg dropped to fourth, or had been hit from behind.

However, Rosberg held on to second to win the title, but Mansell made it known that he was less than impressed with Hamilton’s driving:

While Mercedes had asked Hamilton to pick up the pace during the race, it remains to be seen if the team will take any action over his refusal to obey.
