Who says technology is not awesome?

USA TODAY has uploaded this 360-degree video to YouTube, taken from inside the cockpit of one of the US NAVY’s Blue Angels as they fly around and perform aerial maneuvers just inches away from each other in their F/A-18 Hornets.

360-degree videos have became increasingly popular in the motoring industry in the past several months, with videos such as an IndyCar ride over the Golden Gate Bridge and the opening lap of the FIA Formula E Beijing ePrix being produced.

Hopefully in years to come, 360-onboard videos will become even more widespread with even live streaming capabilities.
